WHY ADOPT A RESCUED DOG? |
WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET! Some are tall. Some are small. Rescued adult dogs are already the size they are going to be. Some like to run. Some lie in the sun. A Rescued dog's activity level is obvious. Some are well. Some are ill. Any cureable health problems have already been dealt with while the Rescue dog is in foster care. Any remaining problems are explained before adoption. HOUSEBROKEN Most Rescue dogs are housebroken, either before they come into Rescue or while they are in foster care. Any problems they may have with housebreaking will usually be minor and easily fixed. NO PUPPY PROBLEMS! Puppies eat shoes, dig holes in the garden, throw up in the car, and generally make nuisances of themselves. Most Rescued dogs are adults, and are "above such things." LOVE There is no more loving dog than one that has been Rescued. Many have been abused, and all have been abandoned by their former owners. They are grateful and full of love and adoration for the person who saves them from a dog's Fate Worse Than Death--a loveless life. |
