Introducing Second Chance Chewy |
Chewy was turned in to us by an owner who had to move to Hawaii. The quarantine period there is so long that she felt it would not be fair to the dog. This is his new owner's story: |
I lost my beloved Pomeranian, Turner, last fall after having him for seven years. I had intentions of waiting a while before getting another one. But I really missed my little ball of fluff. Then I saw the article in a Pomeranian magazine about Pomeranian Rescue. I contacted Barbara to learn more about it--still intending to wait to get another dog. She had a Pomeranian available, so I set up an appointment to meet him. When I met Chewy, all of my intentions went out the window. He was a little shy at first, but I knew he'd get over that with a lot of love. It didn't take him long to bond with his new family. Now he's totally spoiled and very loyal to me. He loves to play chase around the dining room table and play with my daughter's Pomeranian when they come to visit. He goes everywhere I can take him. I'm very happy to have found Chewy and his kisses tell me he's happy too. |
